This policy governs all content published by Daily Mirrors and applies to all staff and contributors.

Accuracy

All factual claims are verified before publication. Errors are corrected promptly with a note on the relevant article.

Daily Mirrors is editorially independent. No advertiser, sponsor or external party influences our editorial decisions.

We represent a range of perspectives. Individuals and organisations subject to criticism are given a reasonable opportunity to respond.

We protect confidential sources. Anonymous sources are used only when necessary and their use is explained to readers.

Journalists declare any personal or financial interest in stories they cover. Gifts and payments from sources are not accepted.

Complaints should be sent to news@daily-mirrors.digital. We acknowledge within five working days and aim to resolve within 28 days.
